I'm house/pet sitting in southeastern Ontario in a lovely old farmhouse. It is a great setting and for the past 28 days it has been a steady progression to spring, with blue skies and warming temperatures. For someone from the west coast it has been a relief from the very wet year we have had. Thursday was a beautiful day, warm, high cloud and a sundog.
It has rained, a steady rain from sometime early Friday morning and is still raining. I'm heating the house with wood and yesterday I had to cross a new creek to get the wood....today a lake has formed where a garden is planned and Shenzi and I are getting pretty restless!
